Holiday Swag Ideas

Tis the season for giving! You might be making your list and checking it twice, but have you made sure to add your clients to the list? You’re getting gifts for your family and friends, sure, but giving gifts to your clients should also be added to your list. A gift goes a long way in showing your clients you appreciate them. Gifts are also great if a client is on the fence with continuing services, or for someone who may be considering using your services. However, if you want to impress your clients, you don’t just want to rely on the same old swag you gave out last year. You want to give swag to impress.

Themed Gifts

How do you keep your name in the heads of potential clients? How do you impress your current clients? You give them a memorable holiday gift. One way to do that is by theming your gift. You may theme it based upon each client or based upon your business. If you have a lot of clients, it may be difficult for you to theme each and every gift for the individual client. That’s why it might be best to do an overall theme for your gift each year. Basing it on your business is a great idea. For instance, if you’re a tech company, a basketful of tech goodies that relate to your business will go a long way. If you’re a bait and tackle company, consider giving out a tackle box full of fun swag. Think about how you can give gifts that are both fun and relate to your business. Not only will clients be reminded of your business, but they’ll remember what you do, and how you do it well. If you can’t think of gifts that relate to your business, you can still do a themed gift. For instance, maybe you want to give your clients a wellness basket, or a basket full of gourmet goodies.

Donate to a Charity

Donating to a charity in your clients’ names makes a great addition to any gift. Pick a charity that either means a lot to you or your client, and make a donation in kind. Include a certificate with your client gift that makes note of your charitable donation. It’s up to you if you want the client to know how much you donated. Consider choosing a local charity. It shows your support for the community.

Customized Swag

Customized swag is always a great gift. These days, you can customize much more than your standard pen or notepad. The sky is the limit when it comes to the promotional item. Think water bottles, clothing, headphones, speakers, stress balls, leather ornaments, and more. Have fun with it and choose items that are both exciting and usable. The more usable the product, the more your client will see your name and be reminded of how great your business is.
